The World's Biggest Crocodile

Welcome everyone to the hometown of the biggest croc ever recorded by the Guiness Book of  World records.

The world's largest crocodile (captured) was caught in Nueva Era, Bunawan, Agusan Del Sur, Philippines, named LOLONG taken from croc's catcher died while on operation.

According local reports, the killer crocodile weighs 1,075-kilogram (2,370-pound) and 21-foot (6.4-meter) long. Similar news said that the Agusan crocodile was caught by several villagers for approximately three weeks. This is after it was suspected to have eaten a farmer, buffaloes and bitten the head of a girl in 2009.

The captured crocodile in Agusan Del Sur beats the "world's largest crocodile captivated" from Australia as recorded by Guinness World Records. Quoted from Guiness, "Cassius Clay, an Australian saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), is the largest crocodile in captivity at 5.48 m (17 ft 11.75 in). The Australian saltwater crocodile is the largest and most fearsome of today's species. Specimens can live for more than 100 years, can grow to 7 m (23 ft) and weigh more than 1 tonne (1.1 ton)"
